We also utilise Embryoscope time-lapse incubators, allowing continuous monitoring of embryo development without disturbing culture conditions. This technology provides detailed insights into embryo development patterns, supporting careful embryo selection and helping us identify embryos with the highest potential for implantation.
Thrive Fertility Success Rates
Our latest IVF success rates shown here represent clinical pregnancies per treatment attempt performed during the FY24/25 year.
*Data is based on 243 individual treatment attempts and shows the chance of a clinical pregnancy from each treatment performed in one year where an embryo transfer was intended. This includes both egg retrievals performed with the intention of transferring a fresh embryo and cycles where frozen embryos were thawed with the intention of transfer. Sometimes no embryo transfer procedure takes place because the IVF treatment is cancelled before egg retrieval or suitable embryos are not available. Any cycles where the treatment is cancelled, or all eggs or embryos were frozen for later use are not considered individual treatment attempts.
As we are in the early years of operation, live birth outcomes from Thrive Fertility cycles will become available once pregnancies have progressed to delivery and the data has been collated and submitted to ANZARD (the Australia and New Zealand Assisted Reproduction Database).
While these results are still maturing, our team brings extensive experience in fertility care and laboratory science, and we remain committed to transparency by providing the most up-to-date data as it becomes available.
Although we use the best available equipment to optimise your outcomes, there are other factors that influence IVF success. The most important factors influencing pregnancy rates include your age, health and cause of infertility. Unfortunately, not every treatment cycle will result in an egg collection, fertilisation of eggs, an embryo transfer, embryo cryopreservation, pregnancy or live birth. You should discuss your specific clinical situation with your fertility specialist before proceeding with fertility treatment.
Understanding success rates
Success rates matter when exploring fertility treatment and comparing clinics. We understand that this can be confusing, as different providers may present their data in different ways.
We have chosen to present our outcomes in a format consistent with Your IVF Success, an Australian Government-funded website that provides independent information about all accredited fertility clinics in Australia. All accredited IVF clinics are required to submit their treatment data to the University of New South Wales National Perinatal Epidemiology and Statistics Unit for inclusion in the annual Australian and New Zealand Assisted Reproduction Database (ANZARD) report.
The ‘Your IVF Success’ website also has an application to estimate your chance of achieving a pregnancy. The estimator uses the main factors that are known to be associated with the success of IVF treatment. The estimate generated is based on the information you enter, and the chance of a live birth based on women who have undergone fertility treatment in Australia with similar parameters
While success rate data is helpful, interpreting IVF outcomes can be complex. Individual factors – including age, medical history and specific fertility diagnosis – significantly influence your likelihood of success.
